I´ve noticed that when Shadowplay active, it lowers the temp while on desktop of both the GPU and CPU.
Anyone else noticed this?

.... I... wut. I'm trying, but this makes no sense in my brain. If your FPS remains the same and it's recording and your temps are DROPPING, then that's either one jesus computer you've got or it's aliens

With Shadowplay active I don´t mean the recorder of Shadowplay, but putting the service of Shadowplay on active in GeForce Experience preferences menu while on desktop. And then check your temperature meter drop slightly.

Could possibly limit FPS or force some form of vsync which would result in lower temps.

ShadowPlay recording drops GPU usage slightly, and since your laptop has a single fan, this will drop temperatures on both GPU and CPU.

Could it be you're streaming to a less resolution machine? Like Shadowplaying to a 720p resolution would indeed lower your temps as the GPU has a far easier time rendering less resolution.

Nvidia´s Shadowplay lowers temperatures
