ISSUE: I have the current version of MSI Afterburner, however I am unable to adjust fan and voltage settings. Also I cannot seem to locate the GPU temp using MSI Afterburner. I do however use TechPowerUp CPU-Z to monitor my sensors. Reasoning behind the urge to overclock is to see improved frame rates with my beloved MMO's. Currently pulling an average 10-15 FPS in stress tests and 10-20 FPS while gaming.

QUESTION: Do I continue to use MSI Afterburner to overclock my card and hope to find another third-party to adjust voltage and fan speed, or do I just try to find another program to task in all in one? Also, anyone know a comfortable setting for the overclocking of this particular card?

I've been using AMD GPU Clock Tool to OC my 5830m for the past few years, which is an underclocked 5850m/5870m. It seems pretty stable at around 550MHz/1100MHz.

So I have been at it all day trying to find the right setting for the OC. My best FPS 23.7 with a min 9.1 and a max 73.2 that's core clock at 770 and memory clock at 1145. I've been using the Unigine benchmark with everything disabled. Enabled I'm lucky to pull 15 FPS. Something is seriously wrong and I'm becoming desperate :(
