    1) I have a Gateway P-6831FX. Anyone had any noticeable success with a cooler? If so, name a few. (I've been thinking NC2000 or CM Notepal Infinite).

    2) RivaTuner vs Ntune (Nvidia System Tools)

(RivaTuner doesn't appear to work with my machine, I notice no performance difference, it doesn't report accurate clock/overclock speeds, and it's just plain crappy on my laptop. Ntune reports the correct speeds and I notice a massive performance difference....but I hear it is dangerous - I use 6.02. Any thoughts?)

Ntune is now called Nvidia System Tools, and I think that it is better. It allows me to overclock and save profiles easily. Plus, it is made by Nvidia and it should have the best support for an Nvidia card. Also, I have RivaTuner v2.10 and it doesn't allow the clock speeds to go past 400 for core?? Anyway, stick with nvidia.

Yeah, I'm using the NVS 6.02. I think it works great, but I've heard it can fry your hardware. Is this because people are noobs and superclock their system, or is it just faulty software? I only ask because I did have problems about 8 months ago with some type of NTune. My laptop crashed a lot.
