I've found a way now that i can overclock the cpu of my M570u (by OC'ing the fsb). Normally my coreduo is only 1.83Ghz, but now i want to OC it to 2.00 or 2.16Ghz. How save is it to OC it this high? (the multiplier stays 11 and the voltage is 1.2625V.)
The actual temperature of stock is almost never higher then 41 degrees.
At the moment i write this the first core is 34 degrees and the 2nd core is 38 degrees.

    Hi

What program are you using? SysTool? ClockGen?

An 200mhz overclock will not influence to much the CPU temps, just don´t overvoltage de CPU VCore(if you have that possibility).

Try uping the FSB until you see some instability. Try to use SysTool and increase the memory timings, especialy the CAS Lantency. That will help you to OC more, and explore the FSB wall(limit).

    ;)

how can i notice that i see some instability in the FSB? I use clockgen for oc'ing and the memory will clock automaticly too.

i got a blue screen of death when i clocked the FSB to 800 in stead of 667 (2.2ghz in stead of 1.83ghz) when i oc the fsb the memory mhz also increases.

sorry for doubleposts, but did anyone else tried to OC his cpu? If so, did you increased the multiplier somehow or did you OC'ed the fsb?
