I am getting an m17x in about two weeks hopefully and want to play Oblivon but, i would like to use TOTO's guide for Quarls texture pack 3 and recommended texture packs.

Does anyone have these mods installed and if so how well do they run?

I also have a question about Load order. Is there a deffinitave load order or is it simply trial and error to get the mods to work together.

I no this is probably a noob question but i've not actually been able to play it due to not having a doog enough pc yet doh!

    Cheers

Depends on what you are getting, a Single 8800GTX can Run Qarl's texture pack wonderfully, with the LOD mods, and with wonderfully i mean never below 50FPS , i tested it and it was really great.

I had to waddle thru Oblivion with not so great settings on my 7800gtx, I should revisit with the new rig and max it out for some dark brotherhood fun.

I've ordered an m17x with 880gTX Sli & 2.8 Extreme processor with 4Gb RAM so it should run great lol

Use the ADWMeadowHallv11 mod from TEXnexus, if you go to the Inn and kill the person behind the bar without being caught, then go upstairs, using the key you stole (",), use a room to sleep for an hour you'll get a visit from the Dark Brotherhood... That's what my mate did...

Alright thanks for the Tip :D, Make sure you install the LOD mods, without them the Foliage on the distance will look very Ugly and Blurry.. but with them + Qarl's texture pack 3.. its heaven on earth really :D maybe you need to get the quite feet mod aswell if you didnt order the laptop with an external sound card, it can still run Over 50 FPS without the mod, but for the best experience. you should install it.

It's the load order that i'm a little stuck on, what order is best for not crashing?

I've got Razer Baracuda headphones for 5.1 surround sound and the creative external x-fi sound card... if that helps?
