I have seen numerous posts involving the 8600gt and Oblivion. Has anyone played it specifically on the IFL90? I just ordered the game and I am hoping I didn't make a mistake. Even if you could share your experience with the 8600gt and WinXP I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Why would Oblivion play any differently on the Compal v. a Dell, or an Asus? Does Oblivion discriminate based on brand?

nah i wouldnt think it would be too different but some people get slightly better performance depending on the computer model. also some manufacturers tend to underclock GPU's in their notebooks. This is all what i've heard though, perhaps im wrong.
