Not sure if this is the right place, but I really need your help.

Ok, something went wrong with my oblivion folder when I was installing mods. When I checked the data folder, meshes and textures folders were no longer there. Because of this, I can't mod or anything.

Anyway, I thought a re-install would fix it, but it didn't. The meshes/textures folders are still gone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try searching for it with vista/xp's built in search function. If that doesn't wield results, I believe it is legal to download a torrent of it. Don't hold me to it, but I'm pretty sure it's legal after you own a copy of the game.

Try going to the folder options and enabling "hidden files and folders" . Sometimes game developers will make these folders hiddren from end-users. so those who don't know what they're doing can't risk damaging the install.

Or you could just install it on another computer and copy the meshes/textures folders on to the computer you need them to be in...
