I've finally installed Oblivion on my T61, 2.4gHz core2duo with 3GB ram in Vista 64. Can anyone who has a similar or same config save me some time and post their optimal settings? I would be very grateful!

I think that would be highly subjective... some people like certain features better than others... Its not that hard to go in and set it how you like it, only takes like 10 or 15 minutes of changing and testing

For a comprehesive Oblivion optimization, given the big amount of parameters you can vary, I would recommend this article: http://www.tweakguides.com/Oblivion_1.html

    I hope this helps.

Given the variables Oblivion offer, I think it will take more than that time for a fll and optimized testing.

The 140m is pretty close in performance to the 8400GS if I remember correctly, and I had the same question way back when I was considering purchasing the Dell M1210.

Take a quick look, there are a few settings posted in that old thread:

an Quadro 140M should be able to play the game at low/medium settings at average resolution.
