Arrrggghhhh I just re-installed Oblivion in XP after having it in Vista, and now it won't recognise that I have any saved games!!!

They're in the right place and it is making saves, but the "load" page won't display any of my previous saves.

I've installed everything, as I have the GOTY edition with the extra DLC and had everything installed in Vista.

Does anyone know of a way to solve this, other than just playing the game through to where I was up to again?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice :)

Assuming that you backup'ed and restored your data, are you sure you put the files in the correct location? My Documents/My Games/Oblivion/Saved Games (I think is the directory).

you need to start a new game and just save a file, then replace that new save file with your old ones, it wont recognize it any other way.

and then put them in the directory Greg said.
