I read online that the PC Version of The Elder Scrolls Oblivion's recommended system specs

    3GHz Intel P4 or equivalent
    1GB system RAM
AtiX800, Nvidia GeForce 6800 series or higher videocard

    Minimum
    2GHz Intel P4 or equivalent
    512MB RAM
    128MB compatible video card
    4.6GB hard drive space

My question is, would a notebook with a P-M (2.26GHz) 2GB RAM, 256 MB GeForce 7800GTX Support Oblivion in all its glory? or have its beautiful graphics dummed down so that your not skipping and twitching everytime you swing your blade?

With that setup, you are going to run it fine. Probably at high settings. I could even run it with my setup. You have nothing to worry about.

That should really churn out some serious frame rates. You'll be able to play Oblivion with zero problems, I agree with ccbr01.

    Cheers
