    Hello

Just got a Clevo D901c and I love it! AWSOME Machine! but I'm still have issues with Oblivion. It runs much better than my old Dell XPS Gen 2 but the game still seems to stutter and get jerky when I'm in outdoor areas. I'm running everything maxed out with HDR on and AA off, is this normal for Oblivion even with a 8800 GTX? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    cheers!

Odd. With an 8800M GTX, Oblivion should be running fine even at 1920x1200. Is your Oblivion updated? Is this vanilla Oblivion, or with Shivering Isles?

yeah something is really wrong here, whats ur average FPS indoors and out doors. Indoors relay more on CPU while outdoors runs more on GPU

Propably some of your system settings are not set to optimum performance. Might also be a driver issue.

Possibly the game is not optimized for quad core so the GPU is not being fed properly. Turn down your setting to experiment until other Clevo D901c come on line. U might check in the Clevo forum for like problems.

Does it stutter constantly or just when it is loading new content. When I play Oblivion, it will stutter every few seconds or so when I am wandering a new area. After everything in the area has loaded its very smooth.

noxxle I think you nailed it on the head. It stutters when I load. I have all the patches and SI. Maybe I shoudl also cut down on my mods. 37 is the latest count. Although I've heard some people have over 100 mods running. So I guess it's more a CPU issue since oblivion does not utilize quad cores. Oh well. It still runs awsome though. I get an average of 50-55 FPS outside with everything maxed. Can't wait to get my SLI!
    Thanks everyone for your input.
    cheers!
