I just order Asus G75 with gtx670 and want to know how far I can oc this card.I dont have my laptop yet and just wondering what the real numbers are.How this gpu run in games and how well oc.
I just sold my clevo and Im back to asus g series.

i think its already an oc-ed version of 570m, thus i would think the overclocking potential may be limited...

This probably would be better to ask in the asus forum where ppl actually have that specific laptop. Most of the ppl in the gaming forum have higher end gaming machines like clevo/AW/MSI

I don't know how to OC the card, but I've heard that it still has great OC potential, making it a viable option against the GTX 660M. Even though the 660M can OC well and reach/surpass stock GTX 670M levels, the 670 can go significantly over that level.

Yes and no. My friends overclocks GTX 670m is only slightly faster then my super clocked GTX 660M and in games they get pretty close to the same rates. But his cards runs much much hotter then mine. When he oc'ed to 850 on the core and i was at 1,300 "no volt mods and not th highest clock i can hit that's the daily driver clock" He was only about 2fps faster then mine in most games. Some games i was 2fps faster.
Typically i seen them in the G75's hit about 850 on the core and in systems with lesser cooling about 750 but it all depends on your card and cooling. Some will run hotter then others why others barley oc. I will say when you start oc'ing a Fermi they start to kick out heat.
Start at about 650 on the core and check the temps and stability then work your way up.You should hit close to 850. Its been a while since i used a GTX 670m "switched to the newest gen" And i only used a 670 for about a month but the card i had 850 was pushing the limits but i may have had a bummed card. -
Why did you sell your Clevo with the 7970M?
Oc gtx670
