This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Odd performance drops at UT3

    I'm running on Turion x2 (TL-60) at 2ghz with 2G's of ram and Ati HD2600.

    I find this rather funny, but when i change the detail sliders from 5 to 4, i get huge performance drop from what i had when they were maxed.
    Even tweaking the inis results this at some point.

    It's ok when i tweak the ini's even more (disabling even more things), but basically it works nicely on all maxed and tweaked, but not inbetween.

    Tested with Cat 7.11/.12 and with newest Omegas (based on Cat .10)
