Good find!
Nice to see my Razor Diamondback is actually doing quite well in the charts.
-
Razor is a california based company so i think they are quite a prodigy at this...

Next up, keyboard benchmarking! But mine already has faster response than yours.
-
omg... serious?! my MS WMO is faster than ALOT of gaming mice!! no wonder I trashed my last gaming one for another one of these !
-
I use the MX1000, and I have no problem with it....Though I have a G5 for my laptop because I can't stand trackpads, and I don't think wireless makes that much sense for my laptop purposes.
I didn't read the whole article, but I think the whole idea is a little silly. I just don't see how it serves me though, I'm sure it's nice for someone. -
usapatriot Notebook Nobel Laureate
I am using a G5 here, no problems, love it.
-
Wow... Some people use 1m to move across the screen !!!!!! I move like 10 cm to move across both of my screens !!! I guess people really take gaming that seriously !
-
seriously? lol...
I'm using the HP laptop travel mouse (you know, the little tiny mouse), and it is awesome! -
Wee, mx518 still rocks!
-
My deathadder has little problem....the arrow moves even after u lift the mouse upto 10mm...which is not cool while playing FPS...can new firmware solve that problem?
-
nope, it's a problem with the way the sensor is made. I know how you feel, I had a lazerless optical wireless Targus mouse that I had to give away because it moved even after lifting it about a half foot (6 inches) off the surface, which is no good for FPS gamers like myself. It's made to be used on any surface, even like shag carpet, but no good for gaming, hell being that sensitive it wasn't even good for web surfing!
-
I'm not sure I understand the problem? Why would you ever have the mouse lifted up anyways?
-
I think the whole idea of mouse benchmarking is only relevant if you play games where skill is divided between those who twitch faster and have better hardware and those who don't. I can't imagine someone playing a TBS using a regular optical mouse will have a worse gaming experience compared to someone else with a Razer/Logitech/Microsoft high-end gaming mouse.

QFT 518 FTW
-
Hmmm... Deathadder has infrared sensor .... and it IS made for gaming. Infact its the best mouse practically for gaming.
But 10 mm is quite manageable unlike your 6 inches. -
the deathadder isnt benched... where would it fall in all these mice?
-
When you are playing games like NFS and u spin out of control and car is heading wrong way u press "R" button to recover..
While using mouse ...i sometimes move the mouse too much towards the end of mousepad so i need to realign it by lifting it.
While playing FPS u need to realign fast and your Aiming shudnt be compromised...
Deathadder senses upto 10 mm and sometimes my aim gets spoilt.
But Deathadder overall is the best mouse. -
Ahh, I see. I guess that never occured to me, as I use such high sensitivities that I never need to move the mouse so far as I would have to pick it up to realign it.
-
The Asus G1S comes standard with the MX518, and I love it
-
Deathadder is benched separately and later compared to others.
Deathadder tops the chart.
