Official NBR Battlefield 3 Clan Server Thread

Anyone want to get a BF3 match up and running this weekend?
Much more fun playing with fellow NBR folks, am i right?

I accepted the two users waiting so i think you're in the platoon now.
We use Mumble for voice chat, but its kinda like TeamSpeak i guess.
The difference is Mumble is open source and it comes with a kicka** ingame overlay / fps gui.

Reason why I rushed my lab reports and study.

The lab was painfully long and tedious. I repeated the first part of my lab assignment like 6 times cause I miss configured or move the decimal point by 1.
I have over 20+ data graphs required for it. All for a lousy simple CMOS Inverter.

It is hard to notice a mistake until you started crunching the data points and compare against theoretical.

 

There seems to be a new Origin Issue where you try to join a server in Battlelog and it will ask you to login to your Origin Account, regardless if you are already logged in at the first place.

 

That's a glimpse of why I stopped playing for some time, too many issues. Last time I was on I kept getting kicked due to punkbuster, this time it's origin again. I'd really like to play the game one of these days...

 

^ that started to happen when they updated the Battlelog client a couple of days ago.

believe it or not, i was also allowed to play a B2K map, altough i never bought the B2K DLC. after a vanilla map conquest round was finished, the server rotated to a B2K map and low and behold, i was not kicked out! i know that B2K content was delivered by the latest game patch (which was about 2GB), but i never encountered such a bug; not that i'm complaining

 

Im on Mumble and Battlelog now, got maybe 3 hours before my mandatory coop session begins.

 

How long does it usually take for the application process? Iappled a few days ago (DirtyTrickster)

I think they meant the first page server links.

 

Then my guess its that we dont rent the server anymore.
The community was great here at the start but after a while the bad side of BF3 started to show and people left.
Rampant cheating online also played a big part.

 

I thought it was the instant vehicle spawn that was left unnoted in the server title.

And the temp seeding patch that Dice put in for awhile.
