Please note that desktop/ION versions of the v185.85 drivers are also available. Since this a notebook forum, I will not be posting them here. However, you can grab those drivers as well by going to http://www.nvidia.com/drivers. Feel free to discuss about these drivers, and enjoy!

Finally a non-beta notebook driver!
I wonder why they even put out the 185.81 beta.. -
With my 9650GT card I get little white artifacts flashing on my screen, is anyone else getting this?
-
Just warning you your 64 bit vista link goes to32 bit, may want to fix that!
DLing now -
Thanks, just fixed that mistake!

Darth Bane Dark Lord of the Sith
does anyone know what's the difference between these and the 182.52/182.65
-
As far as performance goes, it's pretty good. 3dmark06 is down from Dox's 182.46 (who cares), but Crysis DX9 and DMC4 DX10 benches were pretty close. I'lll do a few more runs like FC2 before I have a verdict.
This might be a more DX10 tuned driver. DX9 crysis was down 1-2 frames, but DX10 crysis was within 1-2 tenths. -
Far Cry 2, Ranch Long, Very High DX10
No AA: 43.18
2x AA: 40.84
4x AA: 38.20
So yeah, AA does seem better optimized I guess.
Ultra with no AA got 42.56, bit faster than Dox 182.46 -

Thanks for the info on these drivers. The install went smoothly on my HP; I am calibrating my monitor right now and will try some games later . . .

I had driver crash with these in cod4, maybe just a coincidence, but i'll try them out for a little longer.

DO NOT USE GEFORCE v185.85 WHQL DRIVERS IF YOU ARE USING VISTA SP2!!!
Read here for the problems with this driver and Vista SP2:
http://www.avforums.com/forums/home...ta-x64-sp2-nvidia-driver-185-85-warnings.html
Either avoid installing Vista SP2; uninstall SP2, or use older Geforce driver. -
I had no problems with the official 185.85's when using Vista Business X64 SP2.
-
Me neither. Version 185.85 is working well on Windows Vista Home Premium x64 with SP2.
