Announced it an hour ago:
L.A. Noire Is Coming for PC this Fall | Rockstar Games
Can't wait. Shame they didn't do Red Dead Redemption though.
-
-
Good find, hopefully the game will run better than GTA IV.
-
Meh, I'll wait and see if they ever do RDR.
-
I gave in and bought RDR for the 360, but I'll definitely wait for LA Noire on PC.
-
Rockstar is the only reason I still own a console, does not matter as long as they don't release simultaneously for the pc and consoles, until then I am happy playing their games on my PS3 its not like the pc version is better looking so I am not really missing on something.
-
Mechanized Menace Lost in the MYST
This has made my day!
-
Meh, RDR is the better game of the two. I wish they would make that instead.
-
Probably the only reason they're porting it is sales haven't done as well as they'd predicted. I say boycott until RDR is also ported!

Mechanized Menace Lost in the MYST
Ah good ole' John Marston!
I want Both dang it! -

Mechanized Menace Lost in the MYST

To be honest it was a good game, especially for the animations. I'm guessing thats gonna be a big selling point when it comes to the PC.
-
Y U NO RDR?
L.A. Noire is more like an interactive movie....very unlike how Rockstar usually makes games. -
I WANT
10char -
Yeah i was happy when i read this news earlier today but the first thing that came to mind was where is RDR ?
.
LA NOIRE is a good game but RDR was so much better IMHO. -
Mechanized Menace Lost in the MYST
I want both dang it! BOTH!!
-
A new studio called Team Bondi developed the game over the course of five years.
This is similar to how Rockstar bought the Max Payne franchise yet never actually made the games. (until Max Payne 3) -
Yup same for most people. Still waiting for "that" news on RDR but will definitely keep this on my watch.
-
tho ive played threw Rdr on ps3 i still would like to add it 2 my pc collection -
I agree. I will definitely get LA noire, but RDR and Uncharted series were the reasons I bought a PS3.
RDR will never be on PC though, unfortunately. -
There are several reasons for why Red Dead never saw a PC release:
A) Rockstar San Diego barely got the console versions out from what I heard, and when they did it sold enough on the consoles.
B) Poor GTA IV sales / Piracy.
C) The Rage engine used in GTA IV and in RDR performed poorly on the average computer and Rockstar probably felt that there isn't enough market penetration for quad core and very fast dual core CPUs.
With sandy bridge and Phenom II x6 desktop and notebook processors available at very affordable prices most gamers should be covered now.
The thing is, Rockstar will most likely not release RDR now because it may cannibalize L.A. Noire sales, even though most laptops with a dedicated GPU released this year could handle the game. -
Nice to hear this news but I am only interested in RDR. I also plan to buy Arkham City, Prototype 2 and Saints Row 3, so LA Noire is nowhere near the top of my list. They have released silver when they should have released Gold as far as I am concerned.

Mafia II gameplay with rockstar qualitty, i cant wait! I hope it will have a reasonable amount of gameplay.
-
I woke up with my eyes closed...until I saw this thread.
And now I'm like hyper and jumping on the bed hahaha. -
John Marston and Josey Wales: best western characters ever!!!
Really could care less about 'Noir though... -
Well, at least its better than nothing. Though I'm surprised how fast they made the announcement for PC.
-
I'm surprised as well, I'm happy about it though, as long as there isn't any major performance problems on day 1, it will be a definite buy. Friend that plays it on PS3 says it has some nice face reading stuff, which is something I've fell in love with after reading a few Paul Ekman books/Lie to Me.
