Assuming the notebook has a gig or 2 of RAM. What is the absolute lowest end notebook video card i could use to run Everquest 1 without ANY issues. I understand the integrated cards will run Everquest these days, but will i have performance issues if im in a big raid? I'm going abroad to study this year and everquest will be the only game im playing and i need the cheapest laptop i can find mainly for typing papers, but id still like to get my EQ fix from time to time.

i have no idea, but i still love EQ1. played that thing from age 9 to like 17...... turned 10 in a raid in CB! haha. but basically anything, any C2D prolly, 2GB ram, prolly go w/ like a 8400GS they're cheap.

Geez dude.. I used to play that with an ATI 7000. I bet a 9800 would rip it a new one.. you'll have no problem with today's GPUs.. that's my guess anyways

yes, the 9800 rips it a new one. i have a 9800 pro 128mb in my desktop that i'm using right now, i usually turn everything on max and shadows off cause the shadows make it look gay. just 1GB of ram..... i only ever get lag in massive like Time raids when i played or.... jeez what was the last raid i went on..... something w/ DoD... anywho, then i just turn off a few character models and boom, solid steady FPS
