Hey guys!
I've got some old big box games and I was wondering, do they worth anything, considering that they don't sell these anymore?
I've got:
-Theocracy
-Haegemonia Collector's Edition
-Rollercoaster Tycoon
-Conquest Frontier Wars
-Enemy Infestation
-The Sims
-The Sims Livin'it up
-Age of Empires 1
etc
All of them are opened, but in mint condition, some of them even have the plastic sealing, for example (not counting that it's opened) Age of Empires 1 is like if I just purchased it today, despite that it's 12 years old. All of them have they original packaging (so they are not bundle/Game of The Year/Gold, etc editions).
Do you think they still worth anything?

Not much.
FWIW, most of those games are listed on ebay in the $3-15 range when in used/opened condition. -
I can pick up most of those at Half Priced Books for $5-10. But anything is better than nothing, so if they are just taking up space you can get a few bucks for most of them.

Not worth, even if the price is 1-2$.Old games are very boring, not all but most.
With squarish and funny game play,if you are bored, you will be bored more. -

I worked at a small game shop in town that used to buy and sell used games, and just to make a point we wouldnt take pc games at all. There is no market for them unfortunately, some games even get locked up after the cd key is used once rendering them useless. Also all the piracy makes selling something so old almost impossible, if you see your game selling at a used game store, minus about half the price and thats what they'll give you if you sell it to them. Just something to think about .
Now for those who say well old games have value look at harvest moon on snes, well thats a console title and certain titles had limited prints and or are rare to find floating around. Last time I checked harvest moon on snes sells for 120ish, they are universally playable and have fairly good durability. The games the OP listed arent rare.
