I just found my old copy of Sierra's Lighthouse, but I can't seem to get it to run on this computer. The autorun screen loads up fine but when I try to start the game I get an error message. I tried setting the compatibility settings to Windows 95, 256 Colors, and 640x480, but after that the autorun didn't even work. Does anyone know how to get this to work? It's about the same as myst spec-wise.

Is the game designed to run in dos? Is it that old. If so I think you need to go into dos and enter a command to get it to run. Something kile C prompt run or execute.

Yea, if its that old you'll need to use DOS. Try downloading DOS Box since windows XP doesnt run off a DOS kernal.

i'm pretty sure it's for windows, as it's newer than myst. i don't have a windows 98 install disc or the space on my hard drive to do the virtual p.c. thing. if it's not a dos game would it run in dos anyways?
