I recently caught on to the site gog.com and got myself some oldies. I find myself replaying old games a lot and it seems to be no different even after I got myself a M17x.
This time around I'm replaying (for the 3rd or 4th time?) Might & Magic 6. I've never finished it because I used to own it in CD's, the discs were scratched up enough to screw up the game. But now that I have it in my hard drive, I'm excited to re-live the experience, feel nostalgic, and finally finish it.
Going with a knight/druid/cleric/sorcerer combo, a bit more heavy on the casting side but I loved the spells (probably because normal attacks don't have any animations, but with spells you at least see something).
Another game that I find myself reinstalling every few years is doom 2, that's just a classic. Another one that's newer is Morrowind, also never finished lol but always fun.
Anyone of you have a game(s) that you find yourself going back to every once in a while?

Still have Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri & Alien Crossfire loaded on my lappy. Have been playing it since it's release way back in '98. Wish Firaxis would make/announce a SMAC 2 one of these days.
-
Deus Ex
-
Deus Ex and KOTOR
-
Always find myself going back to Fallout 2 every now and then.
-
For some odd reason, Minesweeper oddly comes back to annoy me every now and then lol
But in terms of actual games, probably the Sims and WC3 come back at certain intervals. -
Deus Ex every now and again.
Oh, and Carmageddon II -
-Diablo 2... kinda anticipating Diablo3 and its still a fun game when you just want to mindlessly break stuff. I wish I could find a functioning resolution mod for 1366x768 and widescreen resolutions beyond (single player only, I cannot stand D2 battle-net)
-
Always Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun in skirmish modes. I never really stopped playing many old games, I have a Virtual partition dedicated to my favourites,
-
HoMM III, Rise of Nations, Civ III. can't escape the classics
-
Tinderbox (UK) BAKED BEAN KING
I keep playing, deep space nine : the fallen , it is way released in 2000.
-
Only game that I consistently replay is Diablo II, some Starcraft occasionally but not enough to warrant replaying through say the entire campaign
-
I find myself playing mostly 'old' games...like a comfort blanket woven with nostalgia...back when life was carefree and Ultima 2 seemed so incredibly real and imaginative...
Master of Orion, Master of Magic, X-Com, Panzer General 2, Diablo 2, Full Throttle, Curse of Monkey Island, Unreal Tournament, Caramageddon is always good for a laugh...
Mostly MoO...you can make the games quick and short or long with a huge galaxy... -
I'm not able to replay old games. Can't get over the "too ugly graphics" and the "outdated gameplay". I tried fallout 2 about two minutes...that was way too much for me. That's sad i know but i'm not made for retro-gaming.
-
Descent and Homeworld
Because there are no other games like them, STILL. -
Falcon 4 - Best combat aircraft simulator available ever (to the public at least).
Starcraft - Absolute Classic
Command and Conquer Generals & Zero Hour - most RTS action fun -
Diablo 2, Starcraft, and Roller Coaster Tycoon!
-
Progen 2.6 (163.13 MB) -

Damn I was thinking older games like pre-2000, but otherwise I still replay Diablo 2 every once in a while also.
I got Fallout 2 from gog recently as well, never played it or Fallout 1, but I hear they're much better rpg's than Fallout 3 which is what I played recently, so I think I'm gonna check those out.
And I might have to hunt down Deux Ex, I've heard it mentioned for so long but I've never played it, feel like I'm missing out... -
I'm playing Descent I. Dang this game is good. Six degrees of freedom and I love the challenge of piloting my vehicle through the mines.
-
Howitzer225 Death Company Dreadnought
Warcraft III and its campaigns.
-
KOTOR and Mass Effect. Bioware you rock!
-
Interstate '76! Loved that game from day one! Stopped playing for about a decade, then found the discs and can't stop! Groove is the man!
Graphics are dated for sure, but the actual gameplay and feel has held up suprisingly well.... but it was a killer game to start with! -
In any case I've always had a particular fondness for the BG series, KotOR, Half Life and Diablo II. Replayed all those on more than one occasion. -
-
I've recently been playing the original Halo: Combat Evolved for PC, namely going through the campaign on Legendary. Man, Legendary on Halo 2 and 3 seems so much easier compared to this.
Also, 16-player Halo Classic online multiplayer is awesome, especially with the PC exclusive rocket Warthog, Fuel Rod Cannon, and flamethrower. -
-
-
Does this have to be pc? Only games I replay are basically Rpg's, Chrono Cross and FFIV easily 5-10 times each
-
Jagged Alliance 2, awesome game.
-
I still play Deus Ex from time to time, and it's installed on my netbook. I'm up to the part where you get the dragon's tooth sword on my netbook. I also still play StarCraft several times a week, and Rise of Nations.
Also if you count all the PS1/SNES games I play on my netbook all the time, it's quite a bit. -
-
Pitfall =D
-
Simcity 4, BF2, Commandos 2 (especially with widescreen hack)

I do agree that Bioware is pretty good, they have a record that's on par with blizzard now imo
And if we're not counting only pc games then I find myself playing DMC3 every once in a while (although that's not that old), but damn I just love fighting the bosses
One game I WISHED I could replay was original tribes, I wish there was still a giant community and I could just hop on with any number of crazy servers with crazy mods to play with... *sigh*
Also wish I had FF8 & FF10, I got FF: Dissidia on PSP recently and now I wanna replay themI hope gog or steam somehow gets a hand on at least 8
Oh another game I replay once every 5 years or so is SimTower, which I finally "finished" my last replay through, became kind of easy once you start spamming offices I realize -
Though I'll admit I was less than happy with EA's acquisition of BioWare. It's just a matter of time before the company becomes anonymous. Anyone remember Westwood? Sad really. -

I shake my fist at EA... and Activision
-
Currently playing through Deus Ex again, just got to paris with the super walker bots and commandos, what fun lol.
-
Warcraft on my Webbook sometime's and C&C General's.

I recently re-started a favorite from my youth... Faery Tale Adventure.
-
