    Hi all,

I still have my old M570u notebook. Recently i've upgraded the cpu and the memory so now i have the following configuration:

    T7400 (2.16ghz)
4GB ram (running win7 64 bit but it only can use 3GB ram somehow)
    256mb 7900m gtx

In the good old days i got pretty good 3dmark06 scores around 4500points (using a T2400 and only 2GB ram). With the new hardware and new os i get very low fps when running the tests. When the sm3.0 test starts the screen starts to flicker (good image, black image, and so on). Does this sound familiar to anyone? I've tried 2 different GPU drivers of nvidia, both gave the same results.

I hope anyone can help me.

    Anne

Sorry for this topic, it seemed the bios setting for the cpu was wrong. This way the cpu was only running at half speed.
