    Older programs and intel HD 3000. How they work together?

    Sorry for the relist, but this might be the right place for my post.


    After 6 years it is time to get myself a new notebook.
    I lost with the many choices of graphics card so I need an opinion from you.
    I found a notebook with intel HD 3000 gpu. I know this is a far cry from being very powerful but my gaming is limited to programs of the past. Would it run xp programs if it comes with windows vista? The games I am interested in are real oldies: Railroad Tycoon 3, Pirates, C&C Generals, Red Alert 2 etc.
    Any help is appreciated.
