    I searched and found the old one was closed and it said to make a new thread (been out for awhile).

    But here is the question.

    I have a HP 8460p
    i7 at 2.7GHz
    6470m
    4GB Ram
    Windows 7
    1600x900 res

    Would it be possible to play:
    Deus Ex: Human Revolution
    Rage
    Maybe Modern Warfare 3 (granted I dont think the specs have been released yet).

    I want Dirt 3 or F1 2011 but my steering wheal is at home and I have no way to set it up at school :(

    The quality is not as important as it being smooth even at the lower quality.

    With 6470m, Baka thinks it'll struggle with the mentioned games even at said resolution at low-med ._.

    Yeah, I don't know too much about AMD card naming but from what I can tell, that graphics card is fairly weak, it will definitely be the bottleneck of that machine seeing as the processor is fairly fast. I don't think it will run those games to well.

    Bummer... That was what I was thinking but I just wanted to be sure.

    The school choose the computers and I have never liked their choices.

    Thankfully those are all cross-platform so you can always play them on xbox/ps3.
