    Hi Guys,
I have been playing local multiplayer 2D platformers with my son, such as Rayman legends/origins,and he loves them.
I´m going on a trip for almost a month, and I would like to keep in touch with him, and what a better way to do it (with a 4 year-old) that by gaming.
So I´d appreaciate a lot, recomendations of 2d platformers that kids can play, and that I could play online with my son from far away (I understand it cannot be done on Rayman).
    Thanks a lot.

Not really a platform game but minecraft is great. I play with my 4 & 5 year old quite a bit. You will have to run a server from your computer our find a public one you can join. Use teamspeak or Skype to communicate.
