Operation Flashpoint Red River wont launch!

So i rly wanna play this game but it just wont launch. When i try to launch the game nothing happens. I can see the RedRiver.exe and RedRiverLauncher.exe load in task manager for a few seconds before disappearing and than nothing happens. There is no error message or anything to help me figure out the problem.

I tried to get help from Steam but they just send this generic copy pasted mail. Did anyone else have this problem or a fix for it?

So far ive tried to re-install GFWL and framework 4.

ok i MUST bump this thread by saying that it took codemasters customer support only 1 hour or something from when i first mailed them to fix my problem completely. GREAT support and very very fast! Totally unexpected!

problem was i had 1 internal and 1 external sound card and i had to disable 1 :=)

i know a bit off topic, but can you post what the game is like

 

Right-click the game in Steam, open properties, and then go to local files and try 'verify game cache'.

 

Its like a mix of battlefield and arma 2. Perfect amount of realism for me without overdoing it.
