Just because Aivyn got that clock on his doesnt mean yours will get the same thing. Each card is different and their strength to hold up to overclocking is variable. Yours could do better than his, but it could do worse. You have to expariment yourself to make sure you dont damage your card.

First raise your core clock by 5-10mb at a time till you see artifacting then back off by 5-10mb. Then do the same for your memory.

I used Powerstrip to oc it. Heat is fine. Dont have a cooler or exact temps but it is not noticably warmer than nomal. I believe that the card has a bit more in it but I am impressed with the OC capability of the card. Soon however I will most likely be upgrading to the 7900 GS

I think you have to use ATI Tool on the x1400. Its of course freeware.

What if you don't want to mess with OCing your card, any tricks/tips/tweaking i can do to the stock omega drivers settings to increase the performance?

Omegas are already optomised to get the best performance out of games without overclocking. I doubt theres much else you could do without becoming fluent in whatever programing language they used.

Theres always attempting tweaks for whichever game you want to play though.
