    Hey all,
Being new to the world of GPUs and computer gaming, I'm just wondering what changes I should make to the default settings of the ATI Catalyst Control Center (v6.8) in order to optimize gameplay. Or should I just leave it as it is? Probably wouldn't make it difference as it's IGP, but I'll give any advice a try.

In my experience (x200m) try using custom settings in the 3d tab. Make sure sliders are moved towards performance instead of quality, set Anti-aliasing etc. to application preference and make sure both shader and open gl are set similarly, making sure options are all weighted towards performance.

Other than that, the x200m (cant say about the 1150 etc.) is stable overclocked up to 500MHz but I can't vouch for long term heat issues. I used powerstrip to move the gpu clock up, which automatically sets to the nearest compatible current cpu and ram settings, so those don't have to be changed.
