    Hey guys..

i got a znote 6625WD , and i have read a but threats about overclocking, and you guys are talking about diffrent drivers - and here it comes, what is the best VGA driver for a Znote 6625WD with following spec:

What driver and what core clock, shader clock, and memory clock would you guys think i should set it on? :)

    Gpu: Nvidia 8600GT 512
    CPU: Intel core2 duo T7250 @ 2,0 GHz
    Ram: 2 gb
    HDD: 120 gb 7200

And can i also overclock the cpu and maybe set the cooling fan higher in rpm , so its not get hot? :)

    Thx for reading :)

Different video cards have different overclocking tolerances, like every other user says it's best to raise the clocks 5-10MHz at a time and then stress test the new speeds for a period of time to test for stability. Once you see artifacts on screen or the PC crashes then lower the settings until they go away. Use RivaTuner to monitor your temperatures as temps over 90 degrees mean the card is closing on its maximum tolerance.

CPU overclocking for laptops is quite rare but it is doable depending on which CPU your laptop has. You should search the forums because there is a guide available though I've never read it myself. Increasing fan speed might help lower temperatures by 1-2 degrees but the best way to keep your laptop cool is to use a cooling pad. Lots of users recommend Zalman pads on these forums.

The latest 174xx drivers on laptopvideo2go support overclocking, not sure if performance is top notch amongst the 17 series though.
