    Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help me out here, I have an Acer Aspire 9410, which I'm currently undervolting. I was wondering if i could also overclock my laptop, my temperatures are ok, 38-48 idle and 65-70 after stress testing. Im already undervolting it to 0.9875 V (original 1.265). I downloaded ClockGen but im having trouble identifying my PLL. to complete my overclocking, i was told that i could reach 2.26Ghz easily..

    help, any suggestions.

    thank you..

    MJ.

You want to undervolt and overclock, that'll hit it hard

Try going with ThrottleStop, the latest 4.10 edition -then read about how it works HERE or in the manual.

It will let you undervolt, and make the CPU run @ maximum speed all the time, even with Turbo, you will notice a difference for sure!

    Good luck ;)

I've both undervolted and overclocked my laptop (Inspiron 1520, in sig) at the same time, with ThrottleStop. It worked pretty well. Granted, it was only a 200 MHz overclock. But, it was stable and all that. If your chip's OK with it, there's no reason it can't be done. Your temps are pretty reasonable, too. I run my laptop at 65-70 celsius all the time, no harm done.

The overclock did require me to decrease the undervolt fairly significantly. At stock clocks, I could undervolt to 1.0125 volts; with the overclock I could only undervolt to 1.0750 volts (original 1.2375).
