What are the effects of overclocking the 8600GT GDDR3 256mb and keeping it at those settings?

Does it burn out the graphics card faster needing a replacement?

I want to overclock my Dell XPS M1530 when i get it but need to know about the side effects.

    Any help would do.
    Thanks

i would do it. you will see some nice performance gains from it. your card will only hit those clocks when your gaming.

I have mine overclocked right now with rivatuner, and i only set it on oc when im going to play cod4. Games like wow and css i dont see much of a gain with the oc so i just leave it off. Just watch the temps

    Side effects may include:

overheating, hot flashes, headache, nausea, anal leakage, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, and cramps...I think.
