Should I concentrate more on OC the GPU or trying to get the memory higher? I think I'm at 600 now and 720 on the memory. What gives more significant improvement? Or are they not linked and you can OC each to the max?

Core is what matters the most, but that will also give you the highest heat emission.
Take a look at my guide for more info, link in sig.
5-10Mhz at a time, test with AtiTool or 3dmark for artefacts and always watch the temps. -
So once you get the core up to max, can you still go back and then bump the memory? Or are you better off putting core up to like 3/4 of what it could be to get the memory up higher? Or are the two not related.
Does a higher memory mean you cant get the core up higher? -
Regardless of what my core clock is, I can't get my Memory clock past 455 without artifacts. Regardless of memory clock, my core artifacts at 615; I don't think they are connected, but of course I can't get my memory clock high enough to really tell.

Read through my guide, and also look on the forum for Overclocking threads.
