    Yeah Yeah... I still have a 3650 DDR2 :(

I am looking to upgrade my laptop very soon....

Back to the question in hand....

I want to overclock my 3650, but with the latest drivers (and after the 8.10 Drivers I have not been able to overclock) ...

Was just wondering if there any any new methods in order to overclock my card...

ATI Tool does not work for me (Windows 7 64-Bit?)
Afterburner worked, but not any more.
    GPU Tool does not work.

Look forward to reading your replies.

    Driver version = 8.723.0.0 .. 6/4/2010 Catalyst 10.4
System specs are in my sig.

try getting the lastest 10.3 ATI Catalyst drivers from AMD wesbite.. then try those tools.. Overclocking should work with 10.3 drivers..

    Tried Rivatuner ???

I use it to overclock my HD4570 + cata. 10.3a & it also works on 10.4 on W7 x64 just fine and the HD4570 is not even supported by it

I've used the AMD GPU Clock Tool (0.9.26) to O/C my HD 3650 DDR2 on W7 64 bit - Worked fine when all the ones you mentioned did not. Btw I am on Catalyst 10.3. I hope it works for you too!

This worked for me. The guide uses MSI Afterburner. I don't have your exact card but it's in the same series and pretty close, I have the 3410. All the mobility radeon HD 3xxx cards are just the same card clocked at different clock speeds so it should work for you as well. Just don't increase clocks too fast, check stabiliy with GAMES, and I was able to get my 3410 to 708mhz Core/602mhz VRAM(Video Memory) from 450mhz/500mhz, the 3xxx cards can overclock SIGNIFICANTLY. The clocks will reset on restart.

Hi guys. Thanks for the replies. I will try using the methods mentioned, if that does not work I will see if downgrading to 10.3 does the trick.

I tried that a while ago, worked for a while then it did not... weird..

Yep tried that too.. edited a few files..still did not work lol

Also just tried Evga Precision... same thing...

I try upping the slider and setting but it goes back down to default... :(

It has to be the drivers (10.4) don't allow overclocking... will try 10.3

if not, mod the desktop 9.12 drivers.... although the benefits of OCing might not have effect with the pre-'performanceboost' drivers compared to stock with the newer ones.

    Hello,
My laptop is a HP dv2-1022ax, which has ati mobility radeon HD3410. I used the win7 driver from Hp website here:
ATI Mobility Radeon HD3410 Graphics Driver HP Pavilion dv2-1022ax Entertainment Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

I can overclock to 700/600 with AMD GPU clock tool 0.9.26, but
1)AGCT cannot set profiles so that I can change clock more easily.
2)I cannot overclock with Ati tray tools, which have profiles feature.

In MSI afterburner, if I save a profile with 700/600 in afterburner, after rebooting the core clock (700) will be missing and it will overclock memory only.

This seems not a driver issue, as I have tried 10.3 but with same results.

Yeah, true that.. You can use Afterburner to OC to the max that only Afterburner allows, cuz after that it steps which it can't do unless u use AGCT which can reach 600+ on the core clock. It's extremely irritating but there's no other option for now.. I suggest keeping AGCT open when you really need that extra power and use afterburner for casual gaming, etc..

Girl, Afterburner works fine.. You gotta open enable the unofficial overclocking to use it.. And even AMD GPU clock tool works.. You have to use a combination of the two to get the overclocking you want cuz Afterburner doesn't go any further beyond a point..
