First off I did use search/ the 3rd thread and I tried what they said and ended up crashing my comp and I had to use restore to get it back(some blue screen error)

Anyways im having alot of trouble overcloking my ATI mobility radeon 3650 HD I installed catalyst 8.2, tried 9.6, and now I have 8.10 with the modded software( I heard thats the one you should use) but when I use ATI tools/ AMD GPU clock tool and adjust the speed it resets itself and wont let me increase it at all

Oh and is an AMD Turion X2 DUAL Core Rm- 74 2.20 GHZ overclockable? Or is it worth it life cycle wise I need it just at 2.4 ghz per core

In case I forgot some spec http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11038077 is my comp

    I appreciate any help :)

you may be able to overclock the CPU with setfsb.
There are other ways to overclock it too. CPU pin mod (BSEL mod) or PLL mod.

Are you willing to take apart the notebook to find a chip (clockgenerator AKA PLL) on the motherboard?

You either get the PLL from another person with your system, blindly guess until you find the right one, or open up your laptop and find the little thing on your motherboard that has it printed

If you take some photos of your motherboard we can help you find the chip :)
