I was looking for a way to overclock my GPU...
My Vostro is equiped with a nVidia GeForce 8600M GT (DDR2) graphics chip.
Now... I read in a computer magazine that you can easily OC the GPU with nVidia's nTune program.
But everybody on NBF speaks of RivaTuner...
Now... I downloaded both nTune and RivaTuner...
Wich one should I use? And most important: how?

Rivatuner is the best in my opinion. A bit more power user oriented though but not hard at all to get the hang of it.

I'd say RivaTuner also!!! The link The Foreunner gave is a very nice guide for it's use.
I have used nTune in the past and it works fine. Easy to set up and use........ -
Thanks Forerunner!
But.... what arer the most used OC "rates" on a nVidia Ge 8600M GT? -

It all depends on your laptop. Each has different gpu bioses which determine how the card operates as well as differnet cooling. I recommend checking out the dell page.
