So i read this card is not overclockable (until modifying bios) at HP laptops as it's hardwired to the board itself.

So this is the case in other laptops too? As in my Asus F3Ka?

The HD2600 is overclockable. I have an Asus A7K-X1, with a DDR3 HD2600. I can overclock it to 640 core, 840 memory (default settings: 500/600). I'm actually disappointed that I can't overclock the core more than that, as I've seen others take it past 700 MHz. In my experience with the HD2600, the greatest performance gains come from core overclocking more than memory overclocking, at least in 3DMark 06.

I use AMD GPU Clock Tool to overclock. I get the best results with this program when I first boot up, before running anything else. I've found that it can be flaky if you use it after running games, locking up even when underclocking.
