Hello all, I have recently downloaded rivatuner 2.06 and what values should I set it for overclocking for my hp dv9500t?

    My dv9500t uses a nvidia 8600m GS.

    Thanks a million!

You go up little by little until it artifacts, and then you go down.

Are you having a problem playing a game? If not, don't.

if you're running all your games at settings you're happy with, there's no sense in overclocking

When your PC artifacts you see funny coloured pixels on your screen which don't go away no matter how you change the resolution until you restart your PC. You can leave your laptop overclocked even when doing tasks like web surfing and word processing since the card switches to 2D mode which is less demanding and uses less power.
