So I have been reading several thread here and there are quite a few people who have there T61 Lenovos OC. Can you tell me what setting in Riva Tuner and what you have them set at vs what numbers you are pulling?

I am some what of a noob at this, but would love to squeeze a little more out of this laptop. I have done this several times on desktops, but have never messed with a laptop before.

I know the Lenovos run lower temps than most so a little extra heat could not hurt it.

    My system stats:

    Duo Core T7300 2.00 GHZ
    2 Gigs ram
    Mobil Intel 965 Express Chipset
    Vista Ultimate 32X

Hi Bimmerman, and welcome to the forums!
Keep in mind that you can only use RivaTuner to overclock your system's graphics if you have a dedicated graphics card, such as the Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M or FX 570M (the two available in the ThinkPad T61/T61p).
Otherwise, if you have the Intel GMA X3100, you're SOL.

If you DO have the Nvidia card, click to the Overclocking & Stability Guide.

This question of yours scares me and has prevented me from telling further steps on overclocking!..If you are not a geek then you are inviting unnecessary trouble by even thinking about overclocking...

Right click on Computer(Vista) and click manage..then double click on "device manager" and then expand "display adapters"...then check what your GPU is...

Then, mobile intel 965GM is your motherboard.
You have the X3100 integrated from Intel and YOU CANNOT OVERCLOCK IT.
