I never overclocked anything in my life but now I want to over clock my V2s-a1 with the geforce 8600gs 256mb laptop which graphically is crippled. How do I get started? Do you need a program to overclock or new drivers? How far can I overclock my laptop without burning it out or having the temperatures unnormally high. What precautions should I take?

I think you can just overclock with the nvidia control panel on the latest drivers. As for how far you can overclock...just watch the temperatures.
