im about to get my sager through the mail and i want to be ready for it. what is a good program to use to overclock my 8700's and at what rates? ive never overclocked anything before in my life, i just want to juice them up a bit.

vista is going to be pre-installed and i also ordered the notebook cooler, so keep that in mind.

this system has the most advanced thermal design to date for any notebook.

it runs extremely cool, and has a built in Fan Toggle (Fn + 1) to switch all fans to max speed or auto speed.

Although I always recommend a notebook cooler (like Zalman ZM-NC1000) to guarantee that its running on a cool flat and trusted surface.

    Hi guyz.
Sorry, but I really need to understand more about that. I'm going to have a 8700m sli soon (dell xps1730), where can I find out how to oveclock and what are major risks/benefits? I would love to have a clear understanding. Is there any "guide" I can read through?
    Thanks a lot,

I wouldn't bother overclocking the 1730, the drivers aren't very stable
