    I got a question:

Yesterday i tried to overclock my go 7900gtx, but then i got a problem.
I can't clock my core higher than +- 550mhz and my mem won't get faster than +- 725mhz. (Standard the core is 500mhz and the mem is 600mhz.)

I think the manufactor disabled it to clock anymore higher. Is there any way i can overclock my card just more?

Yeah, if you flash the GPU BIOS you can overclock it more I'm sure; but you can also fry your card. It would help to know what notebook you have though.

Well my desktop 6800U tops out at 450/1175 (stock 425/1100) so maybe its just the heat/voltage limmiting it. Its hardly like its the end of the world since 10%/20% is a nice little boost.

I have a XXODD notebook. Its type is M570U.
    The most important specs:
    -Intel core duo T2400 (1.83ghz)
    -80GB sata 5400rpm harddisk
    -2GB ddr 667mhz ram
-Nvidia go 7900gtx 256mb ram (500mhz core and 600mhz ram)

    I'm curious what 3dmark scores ill get when i overclock my graphicscard @ 600/1000. I know it's a huge overclock :D

I COULD tell you how, but first I want to know if you are running ATI tool tray or anything to scan for artifacts?? If not, I don't think I want to be the one to help you overclock to such I high number :/

I only have the drivers installed and i have rivatuner installed. is there any program to scan artifacts with for nvidia cards? With my desktop pc (included a 9800xxl) i use ati tray tools, but now i need one for nvidia i guess. At the moment i use 3dmark for finding some artifacts :p.

But COULD you tell me how? I also know i wont get that high with overclocking as i said before, but i will try.

Ati tool tray can scan for artifacts on both ATI AND Nvidia cards. It works great, and should ALWAYS be used if you are OCing this high

Ati tray tools can't find my "go" card. I guess it only works with desktop cards of nvidia

I have my current 7900GTX Oced, and I OCed my old XPS Gen 2's 7800GTX. I ran ATI tool in both. You don't need it to detect anything, just hit 'scan for artifacts'

I see, but that is just atitool, not ati tray tool.
Ati tray tool is more advanced than atitool.
Now i tried atitool and i can scan for artifacts, but with atitool self i can't overclock. I still use rivatuner for overclocking. But how can i pass the 550mhz core and the 730mhz memory barriere?

What is an artifact? I'm trying to OC my 7900GTX too (I'm a first-timer :D)
