    Hi everybody,

I've always been an nVidia owner and overclocking those was always easy. I recently got a Compal KHLB2 (PowerPro P16:9) with an HD4650 512mb (GDDR3) and GPUZ says it's running at 600/800, and I just wanna play around with it a little.

Now, I can't even find a temp monitor that'll monitor this GPU, let alone an overclocking tool. I looked online and ATItool looks ancient. Does riva tuner work? Do any of you guys know of a GPU monitor that'd work? (tried speedfan and CPUID HW Monitor).

Thanks and any input is appreciated!

PS...On a side now, I keep trying to install catalyst 9.9, but after I install it the ATI control center is insisting it's still version 9.7. Anybody know what's the deal with that? ATI drivers suck.

My 2 cents: don't overclock a laptop graphic card. Moreover it is a HP which is already space constrained. If it burns out, you have to replace the entire motherboard.

What do you mean it's an HP? I want to find a decent working temperature monitor before I start overclocking anything at all. Gotta find out what kinda temps it's running at stock.

You shouldnt overclock but, please use google and read some tutorials of how to overclock, I use AMD gpu clock tool for overclocing and it WORKS like a charm. ;)
