has anyone overclocked nvidia gefore go 7600 and what are their results. I use cinebench because of its compatability.
    · Overclocked (511, 426)

doubled? How much did you overclock? Because I only get 150 or so 3DMarks increase if I overclock mine (I'm not installing cinebench... too many benchmarks eating up disk space as it is). I start at 350/350, and it will OC to about 380/380 is all.

****, I got mine to 550core/500mem and starting to get worried that I may be overdoing it. I know the memory can't handle anymore, but the core hasn't hit a ceiling yet.

I know the chip gets set to 350/350 by default, but the core for the 7600 GO's ranges from 350-500 depending on which spec card you have.

Not sure if links are a problem on the forum, so somone let me know if they are, but for now, here's a link that compares the capabilities of mobile GPUs.

BTW, what's the best way to monitor the GPU temps?

wow , thats a pretty good overclocker.

    350/350 --> 550/500??? wow...is your system on fire yet?

Just ran 3dmark06, at 560/500 and it gave me a score of 1864 (i guess the card really gets penalized by only having a 64-bit memory bus).

How do you guys overclock so much?
Mine starts with 350/350, I pushed it to 500/400 and see atifacts, so now it's stable at 500/385, with 700 points 3Dmark05 boost and 200 3dmark06 boost
don't want to fry my laptop yet, better wait for the cooling pad to arrive
    btw, i got 3700 for 3Dmark05 and 2050 for 3Dmark06 - only 128MB VRAM, crippled version

You're comparing 3DMark06 scores to 3DMark05 scores. 1864 is not bad for 3DMark06.

I meant the card getting penalized for only having a 64-bit memory interface. Compared to crappyGPU, his slower speeds still yield a higher score in 3dmark06, most likely because of a 128 bit mem interface.

Anyways, the chip finally maxed out at 568/503, so I'm going to run it on 565/500 for a while and see how it does. Either way, plays NFS carbon pretty well with 2x anti-aliasing.

k, sorry about the delay i was away for awhile. Well my temps are still sitting around 50 degrees celsius and now i got my marks to go a little higher...Here they are:
    · Overclocked (500, 461)
    ○ CD4 Shading: 333
    ○ OpenGL SW-L: 1328
    ○ OpenGL HW-L: 2355

this is by far the highest i have gotten them to go
i could attatch an image dont know how to do that
