So I'm dealing with a onboard chip based NVidia Geforce Go 6150, which after extensive tweaking, has reached a performance level I can tolerate, but now I'm tinkering with the memory bus, which seems to be set at 100 MHz for default; when powermizer kicks in, it lowers to 50 MHz. I'm avoiding overclocking the actual GPU itself at all costs.

So far, I've been able to push it to 200 MHz without any problems and a small increase in frame rate. If my memory runs at 333 MHz (DDR2-667), wouldn't it make sense to push it to 333 MHz so it could be at the same rate as the ram? or would it be a waste?

Where the memory bus sits right now, there seems to be no increase on the GPU temperature.

Overclock both. Just keep ratcheting the clocks up on the memory bus until you start seeing glitches, and the start with the core clocks.

Is this integrated or a discrete GPU?

    It's integrated.

I know it's generally not a good idea to OC IGPs, but if I can keep the temps in range, it's fine with me.

I'll let you guys know how it goes later.

Ok. I have an integrated 9300m that I overclock with Nvidia System Tools. Anyway, about the memory, it might not be 1:1. Because of many different ways one can say the frequency the memory is working at, the 200Mhz reported for your motherboard might already be DDR2-800.
