I recently overclocked my Quadro FX 570m (8600M-GT GDDR3) with Rivatuner to a clock of 550/1150/800 (core/shader/memory) from the stock maximum of 475/950/702, and whenever I check the frequency/core speed of the card during games (so far, Halo 1, Nexuiz, and Project64) using GPU-Z, the core is clocked at 275 and memory at 302, which is slightly understandable because those are less demanding games, but before I overclocked the card, GPU-Z would always read that the card was at the stock maximum of 475 and 702 during gameplay....Is the GPU underclocking because it doesn't require the full power of the overclocked card (meaning if I played Crysis or COD4 it would run at it's fully overclocked speed), or is there a problem?

If you used the modified "inf." for the GeForce 8600m there is a chance that the numbers are off.

With those core speeds I'm sure you would notiCe a huge decrease in game play performance.

IMO it is probably an error on the CPU-Z because of the moded "inf".

It's the INF from the OEM 174.31 drivers...
