I overvolted my 5850 from 1.05 to 1.15 in Ati Tray Tools.
Now however my clocks are always 1.15 even when not gaming

I also overclocked to 800/1100 and now my clocks are always 800/1100 even when not gaming.

Does this matter anything since i always run my laptop plugged in?

Before i used ati tray tool and overvolted my votage would stay 0.95 when not gaming and clocks 400/1000 when not gaming...

Just wanna know if am safe here?

Yah once you restart the clocks will return back to stock. I would just OC for gaming then either revert by resetting stock settings or just restart the computer.

I wonder if you can flash a 5850?

Is there no way to enable ATI powerplay in CCC but keeping the votage setting from Ati tray tool?

Not when you software OC. If you can flash it though you can just alter the 3D clocks so it automatically goes up and down.

I flashed mine to 850/1200 @1.1v under load and @ idle it drops to 100/150 @??V Forgot.

So under load my 5870's will hit 850/1200,(Stock is 700/1000@ 1.0v) but will still idle the same like I never OC.

If the temps are ok then it doesn't matter.

    Now i found perfect settings

Volted to 1.10 and running 800/1100

However ON GPU-Z there are 3 sensors and one of them gets way hotter than the other 2, which is quite strange

Actually that is quite normal, That temp is probably your VRAM temp which usually get's higher than the rest. If it is in the low 90's high 80's I would repaste/pad.

Just watch those temps and repaste/pad if they get high like 88-90+.
