Hi,
Big thanks to @mirage_bg for helping me get this upgrade complete!
Today I was able to test my P5000, here are the results, everything is stock no OC currently. For my hardware specs, check my signature below.
If you have any ideas/further test you want me to do, please reply and i will look into it.
The results are attached.

Seems similar to a 1070 Max-Q. Also you should probably improve cooling, average temp of 85C is quite high.

in laptops that are unlike your 3 in thick unportable laptop 85c is perfectly fine....Iv'e had like 40 laptops and all of them the cpu and or gpu was in the 80s

Vistar Shook likes this. -

I misread....yeah 85c is pretty high for a 5 min run....I meant after like say an hour
-
85C is insanely high for just a FS run. You will reach TJmax easily after 15min of intensive GPU game or task and the GPU will shut down to prevent damage. But it would get damage in any way if you keep using it this way as the other element will run even hotter than the die.
How thick are your thermal pads and which elements have you covered? Which thermal compound have you used? -

Most probably you would need liquid metal even with four heatpipes config
-
Hey mirage_bg I had a question for you, where did you get the additional heat pipes from in your 8770w mod here (where they from another laptop?) , just wondering because I wanted to do the same thing. Thank you for any help.

You can find them on AliExpress
