Well, nobody's answering my problem in the gateway forum, and I'm seriously getting frustrated with this. While i was installing vista, it restarted and switched to a safe mode, where it won't recognize the 8800GTS and everything's bigger and blurrier. It won't even recognize the internet at my house, which the laptop i'm currently using(macbook) can. Can someone please tell me what the #$%^ is going on!?

    install the drivers.... laptopvideotogo.com

and you need to set it so it can accept the wi fi connection, vista will not do so without your permission.

After many warning to create driver DVD, even from myself, he botched his clean Vista install and don't have driver DVD created.

    Tough luck.

Install Vista again and download drivers from gateway.
