Hey guys, as I already have an Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii I was thinking of trying some pc games that aren't available on any of them.
Also please don't think I actually play all the consoles, I only use the PS3 and get a few hours a week on it since I work full time, am doing a Masters Degree part time and have a full time girlfriend haha. Just to clarify!I'm still a geek though.
Anyway I know my laptop isn't strictly a gaming machine but it still has enough punch to run anything out at the moment atleast on low-medium settings. The only exclusives I can think of are:
Half Life 2, CS:S, DOD:S etc
Team Fortress 2
Crysis + Crysis Warhead
Are there many other PC Exclusives worth checking out, either new or old? I don't want to play anything with a monthly fee so was looking at guildwars but there are so many different games and expansions which one do I buy lol.

ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
prototype looks very good, not sure if its exclusive - i think it is.
im trying GW as we speak with a trial key. its okay less then a hour into it -
If you choose to OC your GPU then all of those games (except for Crysis) can be played on high settings. Not low or medium.
Some more PC exclusives:
- Spore
- S.t.a.l.k.e.r.
- golden oldies like; Deus EX, System Shock 2 and Tron 2.0
Don't forget that there are some games which are better on PC than on any console - even on your notebook;
- Mass Effect, Dark Messiah and FEAR for example
Don't underestimate the power of your notebook -
Hook up your XBOX 360 controller and pop in Flight Simulator X. With your specs, you should be able to get a decent frame rate out of it
Not sure if you've OC'd, but remember, the 8600M GT DDR3 is a toned down 8700M GT. Feel free to overclock your core/shaders to that of the 8700 -
I know for sure I can run HL2 and all the mods maxxed out at 1440 x 900
lol. Can't believe how much the graphics have come on from CS 1.6 and earlier.
Even the first time Source came out I don't remember CS look that good.
I will definitely need to get Deus Ex, but also might have to install Windows XP on Dual Boot to be able to play it lol! -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan

There is also a huge number of driving and flight-sims exclusive to PC. -
-
Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Far Cry (There are console versions but they are different games altogether and do not compare).
World In Conflict
Warhammer 40,000
Diablo/Diablo 2 -
TF2 and HL2 ain't exclusive. Definitely ain't so.
-
Witcher Enhanced Edition and the recently released Colonization remake based on the Civ4 engine would be good titles to have which are PC-exclusive.

There is a game called Civilization Revolution for 360, PS3, + DS, but it's a dumbed down/consolised/streamlined version of Civilization 4 (standard) that's so different, it can pretty much be considered a separate title. -
Ahh I forgot about the PS3 and 360 Orange Box. Probably because the console versions suck. They didn't even put HL2 Deathmatch into the console versions :-( Big Mistake.
No doubt the 360 and PS3 are the best console versions of HL2 but the PC version is far superior imo for controls and the fact it was designed for PC originally. I mainly bought HL2 so I could play Counterstrike and Day of Defeat anyway lol, TF2 I tried on 360 but it wasn't that good. Want to try the PC version as I hear it has a much larger community.
Thanks for the suggestions gunna try out a few of these games this week I think! -
Company of Heroes comes to mind. Great game.
PC Exclusive games?
