    What's the best PC game controller?
    I'm going to be using for sports games, specifically Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

    I like the Xbox 360 controller. You can even get the wireless adapter to use the 360's wireless controller, now.

    There are plenty of good, cheap controllers, but the 360 just has a great, solid feel to it.

    Be on the safe side and buy a Xbox 360 controller. The quality on this thing is great. It's truly built to last and worth it's price.

    @xenupy:

    For a sports game? Gamepads have ALWAYS been better for sports games.

    Keyboard and mouse are better for shooters, of course, but I've been doing so much console gaming lately that I'm actually comfortable using the 360 controller for shooters (it just makes it more difficult to snipe).

    Another vote for the 360 controller.

    I have the wireless one and the wireless fob and it works like a charm. Plus, I can use it to play on my younger brother's 360. :)

    @ThursdayLE:

    I have a feeling Kotaku would have been all over that if you could. Sony tends to make their hardware more proprietary than it needs to be (I still remember hacking the EyeToy so I could actually use it as a webcam).
